Malcolm Bruce, Jack’s Son, To Release Acoustic Cream Tribute LP

Malcolm Bruce, son of the late great Cream bassist Jack Bruce, walks a fine line between capitalizing on his father’s fame and being his own man. It’s not unusual for members of famous people’s families to have such a quandary. Next month, he and some other well-known musicians, including late Cream drummer Ginger Baker, guitarist Joe Bonamassa and singer Paul Rodgers, are releasing an acoustic tribute to, whom else, Cream, called “Heavenly Cream” on Quarto Valley Records. The collection contains 15 Cream classics, including “Sunshine Of Your Love,” “White Room” and “Crossroads.”
